We Get the Keys on Thursday!

But in the meantime...still cranking on the new journal and book.

We are closing on the new house on Thursday! I can’t wait to get the keys. Sometimes when I close my eyes at night, I imagine myself in the new kitchen, scoping out the yard, measuring countertops, getting on my hands and knees cleaning floors with a toothbrush. I really can’t wait.

I’m fidgeting and excited, counting down the days until we have to go to the closing, so excited to start the process of cleaning, moving, and organizing. There are so many questions — but I’m trusting that once I’m in the space things will just make sense and I don’t have to worry; the answers will just come. One of the benefits, weirdly, of having an impending timeline like this, is that it puts a healthy amount of pressure on me to get a few things done, including finishing my next journal, and turning in the final draft of my book.
