In the past 72 hours, I learned that there was a sinkhole forming under the foundation of my house, my house was deemed uninhabitable by the city, the foundation fell by six feet, and I was forced to evacuate. Then: I booked a hotel room at the Residence Inn, packed up two cats, found movers, managed a move of all of my belongings into two storage units, found a temporary apartment, found a temporary office, re-set up my journal making operation, emailed customers apologies for a delay on their packages, got resettled in said apartment, and lost the box with all of my cutting boards so have been slicing apples on plates instead.
All the while, I have stuck to my low-carb diet and even made it to Crossfit on Saturday.
